Show your aloha in this aloha print themed ride this Thursday, July 28th!
Pick out your favorite (ugly) aloha shirt and join us on the ‘Ugly Aloha Shirt Ride’ on Thursday July 28th, where we’ll start at 5:30pm and leave from Mother Waldron Park, through Waikīkī and back. This is also a great time to display your HBL Club Aloha Jersey if you purchased one! (If you ordered one pick it up at the HBL Office in Kaimuki!) If you’re looking for some fun aloha shirts on a budget check out your local thrift stores like Goodwill and Savers, as they often have some great options for a reasonable price.
We will be using the King Street protected bike lane and be riding as a group. The ride will be a little under 10 miles and we will be riding at a casual pace. This is a self-supported ride and riders that join us will be required to wear helmets. Don’t forget your: working bicycle, helmet, water bottle, and crazy aloha-wear! 😀 Please bring the proper lighting equipment if you plan to ride on your own after the ride as we’ll most likely be back at the park just as the sun is setting.
Email Hannah at Hannah@HBL.org or Malia at Malia@HBL.org with any questions!
You can RSVP to the Facebook event or just show up at 5:30pm on Thursday. See you there!
