We ride with aloha everyday but this Friday, June 17th, we will be wearing our aloha on our sleeves, literally!
Bust out your ugliest aloha shirt this Friday, for our Ugly Aloha Shirt Ride! The uglier the better, but if you don’t have an ugly one a normal aloha shirt will do! Local thrift stores usually have reasonably priced selections of aloha shirts if you are on the look for one!) Click HERE for the Facebook event.
WHEN: June 17th (Friday), 5:30pm start
WHERE: Start at Mother Waldron Park (on the corner of Cooke St. + Pohukaina St.)
WHY: For a fun and leisurely bike ride using the King Street protected bike lane, through Waikīkī and back to the park! Wear your tackiest/ugliest aloha attire!
DISTANCE: ~10 miles
BRING: Your cheerful self, your working bicycle, and helmet (this is required if you would like to ride with us!)
Recommended: Bottle of water, snacks
This is a self-supported, casual aloha-style ride. It’s also a no-drop ride, meaning no one gets left behind!
If you have any questions please feel free to email the ride leaders: Hannah at Hannah@HBL.org or Malia at Malia@HBL.org
Looking forward to riding with you this Aloha Friday! 🙂
