Aloha! I’m the coordinator for the Mililani Town Association senior program. We have about 50 healthy seniors who would love to ride your bikes. Is there any possibility you could come to Mililani to have a bicycle morning. You came here with your bikes several years ago and they really had a lot of fun. I’m putting together their schedule for the month of August. Please let me know if there is a day you could bring your bike activity here.
Thank you,
Linda
Do u have bicycling for seniors?
I used to ride 20-40 miles weekends starting 5:00 a.m. in my 30s w/a bicycling partner
I’ll be 70 in Jan, haven’t ridden in 7 years due to chronic fatigue syndrome
I want to start bicycling again, gently with someone willing to start early in day
I’m hypoglycemic and heat drives my blood sugar down. Wondering how to start w/o a partner
Aloha Shari, thanks your your question! That’s great to hear you’re looking to get back on a bike. We have weekly group rides for every level of rider, which you can find at HBL.org/calendar. From what you said I would suggest the Red Hot Ladies Cruiser ride that meets on Sunday morning for a fun, casual-paced ride to get you back on your two-wheels and having fun! If you have any further questions feel free to contact Malia at Malia@HBL.org. Ride aloha!
