Do you enjoy group rides? Are you a current Ride Leader? Please come out to a 2-hour session of Ride Leader Training, held by the Hawaii Bicycling League, on March 24th (Sat.) from 8:30-10:30am.
This training is meant to bring standardization to group riding procedures that focuses on safety as well as fun. We’ll go over what it means to be a Ride Leader, crash protocols, and more. If you are serious about ride leading we highly recommend that you be there. We’ll provide some light breakfast snacks, good company, and engaging discussion.
When: March 24, 2018 (Sat) 8:30 – 10:30AM
Where: Hawaii Bicycling League Office (3442 Wai‘alae Ave. Suite #1)
Who: Ride Leaders, group riders, team riders/racers, etc.
☞RSVP by clicking here! Registration closes 3/22/18, 5pm.
As this will be just a sit-down training you don’t need to bring your bike, but we do have bike parking in the office. If you are biking over you are welcome to bring your bike up or lock it up securely downstairs. If you are driving over there should be plenty of free street parking in the surrounding area (just make sure not to block someone’s driveway!).
Location: Hawaii Bicycling League Office
The HBL office is located above Cafe Miro, across the street from Town. We are in the same building as the Hawaii National Bank (so if you see the yellow bank sign, you’re at the correct place!).
