May marks the beginning of the 2017 National Bike Challenge (May to September) with HBL hosting a local challenge week, the RIDE ALOHA CHALLENGE from May 15th to May 21st. Activities and energizer stations will see you through the 7-day competition! Check out Bike Month activities here.
Who: Anyone with a bike in Hawaii
What: Ride Aloha Challenge 2017

Why: Celebrate cycling, encourage new riders, fill the bike lanes!

Prizes include: The Bike Shop gift certificates, Hawaii Bicycling League jerseys, Halo Belts, Cajun King gift certificates, Starbucks gift certificates.
Time to get riding! Log your miles and join in the friendly local competition to see who can ride the most and the furthest! Participate in the week’s events for prizes and just plain fun! To sign up, go to nationalbikechallenge.org. Everything will be tracked via Strava. Hawaii residents will automatically be entered in the Ride Aloha Challenge based on location. Don’t have Strava? That’s fine. Create a Strava account and manually enter miles and rides! All are welcome to participate.
