HBL Ambassador Training
There are many events that we are asked to be a part of but regrettably have to turn down because we don’t have enough staff to be there! That’s where (cue the drum roll) HBL AMBASSADORS come to the rescue! HBL Ambassadors are awesome people who are dialed into the happenings of HBL and can pass out relevant information to interested people at events & tabling opportunities. We will be having our first training on
August 22nd (Weds), 5:30-7:30pm @ the HBL Office.
To RSVP for the training, head here: www.volunteersignup.org/QMFHW
Dick Evans Memorial Ride – August 26th
Racing your bike 112 miles around the island in the [Dick Evans Memorial Road Race](www.volunteersignup.org/QXYW9) is tough. Helping make sure the racers take the correct turns in the Waimānalo back roads is easy! HBL is looking for course marshals for the 2018 Dick Evans, on August 26 (Sun). Volunteers get an event shirt and invitation to the awards/after-party! Sign up at volunteersignup.org/QXYW9 or contact Nat at firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
Lei of Parks
The Lei of Parks Family Day is on Saturday September 1st from 9:30am-2:00pm and will be a fun day of walking, biking, enjoying, and celebrating some of Honolulu’s most beautiful parks and the “lei” of pathways that ties them together. We are looking for volunteers to help set up a HBL table to spread the word about HBL and answer any questions participants might have!
