UPDATE (Feb. 2, 2017): A group of seven excited HBL members have gone through the Video Production Training, and now are certified to work with ‘Ōlelo’s equipment (video, audio, and more!)! We are now looking to put our video visions out into the world, and we would love your help! If you consider yourself a future star (or maybe you are a star right now!) and want to be in front of the camera, or if you want to lend your help behind the scenes, please email Malia atMalia@HBL.org!

Want more riders to understand bicycling etiquette, like passing on the left? Want drivers to give you more room on the road? Then like us, you share our passion for educating the community at large about bicycling and safety! Consider joining forces with the HBL staff and HBL Education Committee members in producing creative and snappy PSAs through ‘Ōlelo. We’re planning on participating in a three week training course with ‘Ōlelo’s Community Media Program to become certified in using their recording and editing equipment. The course will provide complete video production training and free access to ‘Ōlelo’s resources for a lifetime and occurs on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm. Use your creative talents to make Hawai’i a tropical bicycling paradise! Contact Malia at Malia@HBL.org for more information.
