Does anybody know if and/or when the Pearl Harbor Bike Path will be re-opened? Last week I tried riding from Ewa Beach to Pearl Harbor and had two places where I had to turn around and find an alternate route - read Farrington Hwy and Kam Hwy. The first was just after the start of the bike path off of Waipahu Depot Road, the bridge over the canal was taped off because it appears that the guardrails on either side had been damaged/removed. The second was behind the Community College, a sewer line break I believe. I've tried the various city works department websites and info lines and the newspaper, but so far no joy. I'd like to get back to my regular commute, but am not willing to be forced to ride those two roads in traffic or in the dark. Thanks in advance.
