Just today we caught the city stenciling the first sharrows on Young St. We're one step closer to better bicycling infrastructure in Honolulu. And, better yet, we've also received word that the city will be striping bike lanes on Beretania with their next repaving. HBL worked closely with Chris Sayers to make sure the city included a lane on Beretania with their repaving plan, and our efforts paid off. Read more »

Our latest brochure educating drivers has been getting tons of attention, locally, on Facebook, and on the mainland. Help us spread the word, and host a Walk Bike Drive talk for your organization--we'll bring printed copies of this brochure, and educate drivers on these tips and more. Did you know that as a beginner commuter you can find guidance through our Commuter Mentor Program? We have a host of people that would love to have you tag along on their route. Our commuter mentors open their daily bike rides up to the community, so beginners can join them. They'll show you the best route from A to B and show you how to ride it safely. We have people that ride all over the island, so there's sure to be someone that at least partly matches your route. Read more »
