In addition to our BikeEd classes in your local schools, HBL is committed to bringing our Bike Safety Rodeos to your youth. Check this page for upcoming rodeos.

A bicycle safety rodeo is more than just an obstacle course. A bicycle safety rodeo should be used to teach bicyclists the real world skills they will need to ride a bicycle safely, whether riding on the sidewalk, the street or on a path. The goal of the rodeo is to teach children the importance of seeing, being seen, and remaining in control at all times while riding a bike. This is achieved through a series of bike handling drills and the simulation of traffic situations. This activity is a follow up activity to a lecture focusing on helmet usage, basic safety strategy, laws and regulations.
