Haleiwa Metric Ride

Named one of "The Best 50 Rides in the United States" by Bicycling Magazine, join 800 bicyclists on April 25, 2010 on a ride through the North Shore, Haleiwa town, Sunset Beach, Pipeline, Waimea, and for the greatest challenge, Swanzy Beach Park.

Aid-stations and refreshments at Sunset Beach Elementary, Kahuku High School, and Swanzy Beach Park will mark the 25, 50, or 100 kilometer options.

Registration: All mail-in, faxed and walk-in entries must be received by Fri., April 9, 2010. Late Registration: Late registrations accepted April 25 6:30 a.m. at Kaiaka Bay Beach Park.

Packet Pickup:
Packet pickup is on Saturday, April 17, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Cycle Swap, St. Mark’s Church, 539 Kapahulu Ave. T-shirts available at packet pickup. Packets are not available at the office.

Children: Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Helmet: A CPSC approved bicycle helmet must be worn and properly fastened at all times.

Ride Support: Support is staggered for riders leaving on time from Kaiaka Bay Beach Park. Please act responsibly and follow all rules. Not doing so increases the danger to fellow riders and the community, and jeopardizes our ability to hold the event.

Route: Start in Haleiwa Town at Kaiaka Bay Beach Park at 7:30a.m.. Course leaves Haleiwa and follows the North Shore to Swanzy Beach Park. Riders turn around at respective aid stations back to Kaiaka Bay Beach Park. Course closes at
4:00 p.m.

Entry Fee: Entry fee is NON-TRANSFERABLE
