Online registration is now available for Traffic Skills 101! Register for the course at Kapiolani Community College or Island Triathlon & Bike and receive 10 hours of valuable cycling skills instruction. You'll learn both technical riding and mechanical skills, and get lots of experience riding on Hawaii's roads. Tuition is $75. Register now and find more information at http://hbl.org/traffic-skills.
This year's dinner will be hosted at the KEY Project located in Kahalu'u. We will be celebrating our accomplishments in the last year and sharing our goals for the upcoming year. Come share a wonderful evening with good food and good company!

We're thrilled to announce that we've received the go ahead to run our free Commuter Cycling 101 Workshops at Whole Foods Market in Kailua. These guys are brave--they're new cyclists that are learning to ride, rain or shine. This weekend the braved the traffic, rain, and winds to ride from Kakaako to Kapiolani Park and back. New Mayor, New Fire! After the Mayor/Council swearing in ceremony on Jan 2 (cooperative future sounds positive!), Mayor Caldwell spoke enthusiastically about repaving city streets, which is exactly what HBL wants.
