961 riders got their fill of sun, sand and surf from the best vantage point on Sunday – a bicycle! Department of Parks and Recreation Deputy Director Jeanne Ishikawa saw the record setting crowed off from Kaiaka Bay Beach Park at 7:30am. A portion of the proceeds from the ono plate lunches benefited Waialua Elementary School, one of Oahu’s public schools where Hawaii Bicycling League runs its popular BikeEd Hawaii program. Join us next year on for a beautiful ride in Haleiwa, Sunday April 27, 2014. Early registration will be on September 1, 2013. |

Please join us for our first member social of the year on April 5. Please come by the HBL office from 5-6:30pm to talk to the HBL staff and get to know your fellow HBL members. Read more »

Did you know that as a beginner commuter you can find guidance through our Commuter Mentor Program? We have a host of people that would love to have you tag along on their route. Our commuter mentors open their daily bike rides up to the community, so beginners can join them. They'll show you the best route from A to B and show you how to ride it safely. We have people that ride all over the island, so there's sure to be someone that at least partly matches your route. Read more »
